We’ll build, format and style the site initially according to the questionnaire you have filled in (questionnaire also downloadable from this page). There will also be review cycles with yourself. E.g. we can build the Home, About, Contact, Services, Blog… or any combination of up to 5 pages you would like for your site.

What if I need more than 5 pages?

By law, you must have legal pages on your site. Depending on what kind of website you have, we will add pages for your 1) privacy policy, 2) disclaimer, 3) terms of use, and 4) affiliate disclosure, filled with placeholder text, which we can tailor to your site.

Some WordPress, Plugin, or other updates may crash your blog, and that’s why it is handy to have a quick and easy backup restore method available. At Thames Cloud Services we run daily backups for your site, and you can restore these backups through ‘JetBackup’ via your cPanel. However, you may wish to also keep your own copies of your backups and set additional backup schedules. Part of your Website setup will include a pre-set up UpdraftPlus backup suite which will backup daily to a Google Drive. We create a Gmail account for your Website as well, where your own backups will be stored.

To help you know how many people visit your website, what content is popular, where visitors are coming from, what keywords you are ranking for, and help you maintain a Google-friendly site, We’ll set up and add Google Analytics and Google Search Console. We will also ensure that all your pages are SEO optimised so that your site can be found on search engines.

All in One SEO is claimed to be the best WordPress SEO plugin. We’ll set this up for you, mainly for sitemap creation and we’ll link your sitemap to Google. Other features available through this plugin are On-page analysis, rich snippets, local SEO, Smart XML Sitemaps, video SEO sitemaps, social media integration, link assistant, SEO audit checklist, redirection manager, Google news sitemaps, and Robots.txt editor. We will also perform initial SEO optimisation according to the site content you provide, so that your site can be found on search engines.

You can contact us about any technical difficulties or issues, and as part of the monthly hosting cost, we will also ensure that your WordPress theme and all plugins are updated and maintained. 

You also get 2 hours of Website Editing per month, in case you need changes or updates to your site.
